    • How does one stream a video call?

Polycom's FAQ's show a complex and limited solution that normally does not work for the internet or with the popular Widows Media Player. We have a powerful and easy solution with our Video Streaming Solution VSS.

    • Streaming does work on some systems but only on LAN's with Apple QuickTime Player and Cisco IP/TV viewer (and not the popular Windows Media Player). "In general, streaming using IP multicast does not work across the Internet. It is usually restricted to a local area network (LAN). This is because most routers on the Internet do not pass multicast data. To stream to someone on the Internet, the person's unicast address must be specified." In contrast our Video Streaming Solution VSS works with Media Player and the internet.
