Sony's newest robotic pan/tilt/zoom color video
camera - the new EVI-D70 - the successor to the
industry leading EVI-D30. The EVI-D70 combines a
high quality 1/4 type EXview HAD™ CCD color camera
with the flexibility of a remote pan/tilt/zoom
operation, all in a compact easy-to-use package.
Compared to its predecessor, this superior EVI-D70
camera incorporates a wider pan/tilt range with an
18x optical zoom lens and a faster pan/tilt
mechanism, making them ideal for distance learning,
video conferencing, houses of worship, courtrooms,
hospitals and nursing homes, events and concert
halls, and just about any other remote shooting
application. And best of all, it's ceiling mountable
- a first for Sony's popular EVI cameras. |

The products are in stock and are
normally shipped within one
business day after receipt of the order.
Overnight shipping is available.
This is new production so a full 12
month manufacturer warranty is available.
The default color for the camera
itself is black. Optionally a white color camera case
is available. Specify when ordering if white is needed.
The camera comes with a power supply
and remote control. Video cables, control cables and camera
mounts need to be ordered separately.
Basic installation requires electrical power,
s-Video cable for video and a control cable. Control
can be via the remote control or a PC or a dedicated
control solution (a Sony RM-BRC300 or a Telemetrics
CP-ITV). Cat-5 cable installation systems are
available from Vaddio
and Sound Control
(combining power, video and control over cat-5 cable).
Camera Mounts are also required for most installations.
Kit A: - For a single
camera system, here's a typical configuration
with 1 Sony EVI-D70 camera, the cables for one camera
25' away from a PC/recorder/VCR, and 1 wall mount.
